Christmas at ASL – parties, cards and fundraising!

The Christmas spirit has well and truly jingled it’s way into the ASL tea room and if the entire ASL team weren’t in a holly jolly and festive mood before our team Christmas party, then they certainly are now!

We all had a fantastic night and had so much fun! We had a lovely dinner and there were lots of smiling faces! We are so proud of our fantastic team and all that they have achieved this year, and we’re already looking forward to another busy and successful 2019, watch this space!

In other ASL Christmassy high jinx, not only has our tea room been transformed in to a magical winter wonderland (with yummy seasonal bakes to match!) but we’ve also been crafting up a snow flurry as well with our beautiful handmade Christmas cards! Our cards are hand made by everyone that attends ASL and we can even make to order, just get in touch! All the money raised will be going towards organising fun and social activities for everyone at ASL! You can find out more on our Facebook page.

We’re also so thrilled and extremely honoured to have been chosen by the wonderful Paul Blake and his family to be one of the benefiting charities from the money he raises through his absolutely amazing Christmas lights display! Paul lights up his house every year and this year he has been kind enough to include us in his donations.

Our wonderful Michelle and Hayley went to visit the incredible display and the photos just don’t do it justice! It really is a beautiful display and we highly recommend  taking a visit! You’ll absolutely love it and it’s a fantastic way to kick off your family’s Christmas!

If you do get a chance to pop along, please make sure to leave a donation as we are not the only lucky ones to be selected by Paul, he’ll also be donating to St Clare Hospice and Streets2homes – two charities Harlow really couldn’t do without! Oh and don’t forget to see if you can spot Santa!

You can keep up to date with everything ASL on our Facebook page!
